DEB ARGUELLO

BIO

Deb is an Iowa-based artist who transforms found and thrifted objects into miniature hybrid creatures, characters, and imagined worlds. Through a process of deconstructing and reconstructing materials, she gives familiar objects unexpected new forms and identities. Her work expresses her faith, imagination, and deep internal world, bringing together the familiar and fantastical through experimentation and discovery.
