JACK MARREN

BIO

Jack Marren is an Iowa-based abstract artist recognized for his vibrant compositions and deep commitment to community-engaged artmaking. Guided by his mantra—Dream, Dare, Do—Jack channels his unique perspective as an artist living with autism and a brain tumor into expressive works that explore color, movement, and emotion. His practice is marked by boldly avoiding neutrals, favoring saturated hues that radiate joy, resilience, and optimism. Through solo and collaborative projects, Jack uses art as a connection and inclusion, challenging common stereotypes about how artists with disabilities create, communicate, and contribute to their communities. His work is exhibited and collected regionally, offering a powerful and inspiring voice within the contemporary abstract art landscape.
